Mr. Antonio King "Q." Johnson, age 29, of Cedartown transitioned Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
He was born February 28, 1993, Tedra Sumlin.
Q was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Cedartown, having joined at an early age. He was a loving father. Q was known to have a quiet spirit and loved to joke. He was trained in the art of Jiu-Jitsu.
Those left to cherish Q’s memory are his parents, Randy and Virginia Beeman; mother, Tedra Sumlin; children: Antonio Kenton Johnson, Trenton Johnson, Aaralyn Johnson, and bonus daughter, Summer Gohlston; three sisters: Ebony “Pep” Stocks of Rockmart, Jana Strickney (Trevin) of Rockmart, Kira Finley (Shantria) of Rome; brother, Phillip “PJ” Stocks, Jr. of Cedartown; grandmothers, Ann Wright of Rockmart and Barbara Brown of Cedartown; the mother of his children, Shanterria Whitehead; and a special mentor and friend, Chip Coffey.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Justin Jesters, Reginald Barnett, Jawon Lovelace, Eric Calhoun, Jr., Tevin Brown, Tavarion Jackson, and Ashford Nettles, Sr.
Serving as flower girls will be Miah Lovelace, Mariah Lovelace, Maranda Calhoun, Ashira Nettles, Brakeya Nation, and Brandiyala Jones.
Homegoing services to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Cedartown First United Methodist Church at 2:00 PM. He will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 6, 2023, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Smith & Miller Funeral Home.
