Mr. Ronnie Baldwin, age 71, of Cedartown, passed away, Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

Ronnie was born July 29, 1950 in Cedartown to the late Joseph “Jack” Baldwin and the late Annie Lou Winkles Baldwin. He was a 1969 graduate of Cedartown High School. Ronnie was a fan of all local youth sports. He served his country for twenty two years and retired as an Army Airborne Ranger. He was an umpire for 54 years. For fun, Ronnie was a Santa for almost 40 years and enjoyed car cruise in shows.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Baldwin; children: Katie Baldwin, Kellie (Jonathan) Blackmon, Melanie Wiles, Jennifer Woolsey, Debbie (Jason) Wonsey, Jesse Wiles (Bert Lofaro) and Anna Wiles (Logan Cobb); grandchildren: Evie and Brodie Blackmon, Kaellie and Jase Harrell, Nikki Martinage, Morgan Martinage, Joshua Wiles, Natalie Haney, Emily Woolsey, Zoey Wiles, Jason Wonsey, Jr., Madison Wiles, Maddox Cobb, Baylee Cobb and BentleyCobb;
7 great- grandchildren; sisters: Connie (Charles) Blalock and Joanne (Wallace) Shiflett along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church, Cedartown, Georgia. Officiating will be Rev. Jonathan Blackmon and Rev. Danny Rhodes. Eulogy will be given by Steve Baldwin. Interment will follow at Northview Cemetery. The family would like for guests to wear something that reminds them of Ronnie. That something could be a ball jersey, t-shirt or an umpire uniform.

The following will serve as pallbearers: Brodie Blackmon, Jase Harrell, Jason Wonsey, Jason Wonsey, Jr. and Jaden Cave.

Umpires serving as honorary pallbearers: Larry Neal, Shiron Cook, Quinton Dulany Brian Jarrell, Dan Murkins, Forrest McCombs, John Poulan and Steve Baldwin.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until the service hour at the church. Out of concern and respect for each other, the family requests that friends comply with wearing face coverings and social distancing.
