Thomas Michael "Mike" Swindall

Mr. Thomas Michael “Mike” Swindall, age 53, passed away, Wednesday, August 9, 2023.

Mr. Swindall was born, April 19, 1970, in Rome, Georgia, the son of Myrtle Swindall and the late Bill Swindall.

Mr. Swindall was a family man and enjoyed time spent with his children and grandchildren. He was a loving husband to his wife, Rita, for twenty-eight years. Mr. Swindall was a hard worker and enjoyed the outdoors. He always enjoyed an afternoon spent fishing or going for a ride on his motorcycle.

In addition to his father, Mr. Swindall was preceded in death by his “maw maw,” Grace Shaw and his uncle, “Butch” Shaw.

Mr. Swindall is survived by his loving wife, Rita Swindall; children: Tyler Swindall and his wife, Lindsey, Seth Swindall, Gracelyn Swindall,  and Chelsea Hulsey; grandchildren: Braxton Morris, Raeleigh Hulsey, Carter Atkins, and a baby on the way; and mother, Myrtle Swindall. Additionally, he is survived by three brothers and two sisters. 

Mr. Swindall’s family will receive friends, Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, at The Smith & Miller Funeral Home.
