Alan Stephen Kinard

Mr. Alan Stephen Kinard, age 77, of Cedartown, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022.

Mr. Kinard was born in Nanuet, NY on May 16, 1945. He was the son of the late Martin Alfred Kinard, Jr.
and Eleanor Joyce Kinard. At a young age, Mr. Kinard was raised in New York prior to moving to Florida
where he then met his wife, Gloria Jean Kinard. Together, with their children, the Kinard family moved to
Cedartown in 1994. He retired as general manager of Waste Management and then drove over the road
for Zartran. Mr. Kinard enjoyed spending time with his family, joking with friends, and cutting grass. Mr.
Kinard leaves a legacy of love for his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Gail Mazzei.

Mr. Kinard is survived by his beloved wife, Gloria Kinard, his sons: Steve Kinard and Scott (Meredith)
Kinard, all of Cedartown; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. His sister, Carol Monte of
Bonham, TX and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, Mr. Kinard will be cremated, and no formal services will take place.
