Alana Timms

Mrs. Alana Timms, age 75, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022.

Mrs. Timms was born May 23, 1946 in Rome, Georgia to the late Jack Troy Miller, Sr. and the late Anna Lee Balliew Miller. She worked over 50 years in the banking industry at First National Bank and South Crest Bank. Mrs. Timms was a member of Cave Spring United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time at the lake fishing, skeet shooting, gardening and painting with watercolors. She also enjoyed reading.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Jack Troy Miller, Jr. and her son Jimmy Childre.

Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Steve Timms; daughter, Kim Tuck (Darren) and stepdaughters: Mary Catherine Gerrey and Neely Carpenter (Craig); grandchildren: Sam Tuck (Talyn), AnnaLee Lee (Jake), Riley Carpenter, Willow Carpenter and Cameron Carpenter; great-grandchildren: Gunner Lee, Camden Lee and nieces: Jenny Goldsmith and Misty Moore.

The family will have a celebration of life in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Memorial Fund in her memory to First Baptist Church, 101 N. College St., Cedartown, GA, 30125.
