Ms. Betty Arp, age 64, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024.
Betty was born July 12, 1960, in Draketown, Georgia, daughter of the late Harvey Arp and Shirley Woody Arp.
Betty was a loving person. She loved family gatherings and cooking for the people she loved. She was an avid Alabama football fan and enjoyed watching games with friends and family. Betty was always up for time spent talking with friends, riding around in the car, and visiting flea markets. When she was able she loved to attend church at Grace Baptist Church. Her family was always sure of her love for them.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Sally Moyer, and nephew, Mark Arp.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Ashley Goss (Kenneth Reeves, Jr.); son, Chris Clonts (Heather Clonts); grandchildren: Jaden Norton, Chris Norton, Alexis Norton, Savannah Norton, Lane Clonts, Aubrey Clonts; siblings: Terry Arp (Angie), Michael Arp (Renee), and Elaine Garner (Chad); great grand child, Rowan King; nieces: Trista Garner, Heather Reeves, and Katliyn Arp; nephews:Trenton Garner, Michael Lamar Schmidt, Brent Arp, and Jimmy Ingram; great nieces: Kopelyn Garner, Sadie Upton, Tatum Upton, Olivia Garner, Oaklynn Lewis, Sarah Schmidt, Alexa Williams, Jillian Ingram, Jesslyn Wood, and Nova Ingram; and great nephews: Cody Lewis, Jackson Hood, Jason Schmidt, and Austin Ingram. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
A private service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
