Betty Jo Heath Franklin

Mrs. Betty Jo Heath Franklin, age 94, of Cedartown, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025.

Betty was born October 7, 1930, in Cedartown, Georgia, daughter of the late George Edward Heath and Bettie Tuck Heath. 

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Olin Stone Franklin; brothers: Cleve Heath of Bremen, Georgia, Bob Heath of Athens, Georgia, and Ralph Heath of Cedartown, Georgia; and sisters, Ruby Wallace, Eddie Mae Brown, and Rachel Sparks, all of Cedartown. 

Betty is survived by two special nieces, Judy Davis and Vicki Baldwin. 

Graveside funeral services to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in Northview Cemetery, at 3:30 PM, with Mr. Eddie Heath officiating. 

Betty’s family will receive friends, also on Tuesday, at Smith & Miller Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
