David Wayne Jodoin

Mr. David Wayne Jodoin, age 46, passed away, Thursday, January 4, 2024.

David was born May 1, 1977, in Springfield, Massachusetts, to his parents, Mr. Wayne Jodoin and Linda Smith Shockley.

David was of the Catholic Faith. He was an artistic person and was a very gifted furniture designer. He specialized in creating pieces out of reclaimed wood; each of his pieces were a unique treasure. David also had a special love for classic cars, which was a shared family passion. Despite adversity in life, he still remained a beacon of positivity. He was a fun loving person and enjoyed time with his nieces and nephews. David came from a loving family and his presence will be greatly missed in their lives.

David was preceded in death by his stepdad, Mr. Jules Shockley; and brothers, Adam Medeiros, and Craig Jodoin.

He is survived by his loving parents: his mother, Linda Smith Shockley, and his father, Wayne Jodoin and his wife, Barbara; brothers, Brandon Jodoin and his wife, Hannah, Scott Medeiros, and Christopher Medeiros and his wife, Amy. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 1:30 in the afternoon, in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home.

David’s family will receive friends, also on Sunday afternoon, from 12:30 until the service hour, at Smith & Miller Funeral Home.
