Dennis Rowell

Mr. Dennis Rowell 74 of Cedartown passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021.

Mr. Rowell was born on March 30, 1947 in Cedartown to his late parents, James and Vassie Rudeseal Rowell. He was a proud veteran having served during the Vietnam era as a sharpshooter. While in Vietnam, he was awarded a Purple Heart from injuries he sustained. Dennis could always be found restoring old cars but he would do anything for his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James Rowell and Doyce Rowell and his wife, Nancy.

Mr. Rowell is survived by his daughter, Kelley Rowell Maddox (Kyle McKinney); grandchildren, Marisa Milligan (Dalton Roper), Brock Milligan, and Drew Maddox. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Graveside services to celebrate his life will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Sanders Cemetery with Rev. Doyle Kelley officiating and Brown -Wright Post 12 American Legion providing military honors.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jimmy Carter, David Brock, Clint Barnett, Dudley Epperson, John Kelley, and Mr. Jay Black. Ricky Davenport will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
