Edwin Starley

Mr. Edwin Richard Starley, age 78, of Cedartown passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019.

Edwin was born August 10, 1941, in Dublin, Georgia to the late Jessie Vince Starley, Sr. and the late Mattie Bracewell Starley. Edwin retired from the Upson County Public Works Department and then worked for Waste Management and was later a security guard for Peachtree Security. He loved to watch TV and take his naps.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Wells Starley and his sister, Annie Lou Starley.

Survivors include his brother, Jessie V. Starley, Jr. and his sister, Janelle Harris along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home, with Brother Jamie Newsome officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 2:00 PM until the service hour.
