Ellen Rampley Isham

Mrs. Ellen Isham, 88, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.

She was born in Cedartown on June 23, 1932, daughter of the late Roy Rampley and the late Lily Mozell Prewett. Mrs. Isham was a long-time member of Lake Creek Baptist Church. She loved working in the yard and in her free time she enjoyed coloring and collecting.

In addition of her parents Mrs. Isham was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Isham; son, David Wayne Isham; sisters, Ethel Bowens and Ruth Colbert; brothers, Seals Rampley and Robert Rampley.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Kay & Danny Astin; grandchildren, Lindsey & Josh Mathis and Britany & Micah Glover; great grandchildren, Rylee Mathis and Garrett Mathis; sisters, Dora Mae Earley and Jeanette Haney; brothers, Roy Rampley, Jr. and Johnny Rampley. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Isham will be held Thursday, January 14, 2012 at 4:00 PM at Polk Memory Gardens with Rev. Barry Snapp and Rev. Dole Kelley officiating.

Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and the use of a mask is recommended.
