Eugene Arp

Mr. Eugene Arp, age 77, of Cedartown passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021.
He was born on August 18, 1943, in Centre, Alabama. He was the son of the late Jasper and Maggie Alexander Arp.

Eugene enjoyed watching TV, sitting in his rocking chair, singing in church, and loved to dance.
Mr. Arp was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Maggie Arp; brothers, Marshell Arp, Howard Arp, Alvie Arp, Hudon Arp, and Harvey Arp; sisters, Hazel Payne and Geraldine Rinehart.

Survivors include his sisters, Sara Woody and Helen Cushin. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Eugene Arp will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Smith and Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Floyd officiating and family members sharing memories of Eugene’s life. Interment will follow at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Clay Arp, Sr., Clay Arp, Jr., James Arp, Ricky Floyd, Logan Shelton, and Leon Bowling.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, August 10, 2021 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
