Henry Wallace Hogue

Mr. Henry Wallace Hogue, age 66, of Cedartown, GA passed away Monday, December 21, 2020.

He was born in Bremen, GA on November 9, 1954 a son of the late James Hogue, Jr. and the late Dorothy Forrister Hogue. Mr. Hogue was a long-time member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Cedartown. He was a veteran, having served our country in both the Army & Navy. He loved to have the wind in his face riding motorcycles anytime he could. He was an outdoor type person enjoying his trips down a creek in a kayak, walking through the woods, or just sitting around a campfire. He devoted a lot of his time mentoring people struggling with addiction issues.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James Hogue, III and Tommy Hogue; sister, Trenna Morris.

Survivors include his children, Jason & Tarla Hogue, Adam & Sarah Hogue and Angela and Timothy Thomas; grandchildren: Shelby Hogue, Payton Hogue and Henry Adam Hogue Jr.; sister, Jane Morgan. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 26. 2020 at 2:00 pm at Northview Cemetery with Pastor Rey Bibit officiating and a Eulogy by Mr. Chris Beeler. Graveside military rites will be provided by the American Legion Honor Guard, Brown-Wright Post #12.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Adam Hogue, Chris Beeler, Heath, John and Jordan Watkins, Jeremy Thompson and PJ Stephens and John Bell.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 Noon – 1:45 PM at Smith & Miller Funeral Home. Social Distancing guidelines will apply and masks are recommended.
