Janice Marie Ballard

Ms. Janice Marie Ballard, age 52, of Cedartown, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024.

Janice was born November 6, 1971, in Rome, Georgia, daughter of the late Wesley Ballard and the late Patricia Smith. 

Janice was a graduate of Pepperell High School. She was a very gifted person who loved crafting. She was talented in cross stitch, crocheting, making stained glass, and loved to bake. She especially loved spending time with her family playing board games, card games, and watching movies. Janice had a love for the Church of God and her faith was very dear to her. Her presence will be missed in the lives of all who knew and loved her. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step mother, Kimberly Ballard. 

Janice is survived by her son, Patrick Ballard; grandchildren: Brandon Davenport, Oliver Ballard, Levi Ballard, and Kendell Ballard; siblings: Stephen (Carmen) Ballard, LaBriska (Matthew) Waddell, and Rachel (David) Spurlock; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Services to celebrate her life will be held Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 4:00 PM, at the Rockmart Church of God, with Reverend Michael Edwards officiating.
