Jeanette Marie Blankenship

Mrs. Jeanette “Marie” Blankenship, age 76, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021.
She was born on January 14, 1945 in Cedartown, GA, and lived all her life there. Marie loved the Lord immensely and was Baptist by faith. She loved flowers, cooking, and being a friend to anyone and everyone she met. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her loving family, and especially her precious grandchildren.

Mrs. Blankenship was preceded in death by her loving husband, Estol Wayne Blankenship, mother, Vernice Glass Martin, brothers: Edward Martin, Rocky Martin; sisters: Ophelia Estes and Yvonne Ambrose; and sister in law, Carol Griffith.

Mrs. Blankenship is survived by her loving children: Tim Blankenship and his wife, Rhonda, Scotty Blankenship and his wife, Rhonda, and Brian Blankenship and his wife, Lisa, grandchildren: Rachel Trout and her husband, Kyle, Haley Carney and her husband, Jeremy, Christian Blankenship, Elise Blankenship, and Cheyenne Blankenship, great-grandchildren: Demi Kate Trout, McKinley Carney and Madison Carney, sisters-in-law: Kathy Martin and JoAnn Sanders and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Jeanette “Marie” Blankenship will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from the Chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jeff Hulsey officiating. Interment will follow at Northview Cemetery.

The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers: Jeremy Carney, Christian Blankenship, Kyle Trout, Corey Smith, Zach Sanders, and Shane Nale.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home for a visitation on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
