Jerry Shelton

Mr. Jerry Shelton, age 86, passed away, Monday, June 12, 2023.

Mr. Shelton was born August 17, 1936, son of the late Robert Shelton and Lila Tucker Shelton.

Mr. Shelton was a graduate of Berry College where he went on to teach and coach. He later would become the head of the Physical Education Department at Floyd College. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mrs. Joyce Nadine Shelton; brother, Donnie Shelton; and nephew, Robert Williams.

Mr. Shelton is survived by sisters-in-law, Martha Shelton and Charlotte Hendrix Stokes; and nephews and nieces, Barron and LaVeeta Williams, Ritchie and Regina Shelton, and Julia Williams.

Graveside services to celebrate his life will be held, Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 1:00 PM, Central Time, at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, 3146 County Road 33, Fyffe, Alabama, 35971, with Doctor Reverend DeWayne New officiating.
