John Spencer Brazier

Mr. John "Spencer" Brazier, age 86 of Cedartown, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021.

Spencer was born October 21, 1934 to the late John Dell Brazier and the late Corrine Dempsey Brazier. He was a 1952 graduate of Cedartown High School. Spencer was a member of Poole Town Church for years. He was a current member at Victory Baptist Church. Spencer worked a long time for Trippe Lumber Company and then worked for and was the owner of Brazier Building Supply in Cave Spring. He was a member of the Optimist Club, Masons and was in the Army unit of the Signal Corps.

In addition to his parents, Spencer was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Jo “Pat” Swafford Brazier and his sister, Nettie Sue Brazier.

Survivors include his sons: Randall Brazier and Daryl Brazier (Tracy); grandchildren: Kristen Stroup and DeWayne Brazier (Jennifer); great-grandchildren: Maranda Stroup, Michael Stroup, Coltyn Brazier and Bennett Brazier; sister, Lois Carmichael; niece, Donna Isget along with several other nieces and nephews.

Mr. Brazier was interred next to his beloved wife and a memorial service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Victory Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Snapp and Rev. Anthony Osborn officiating.
