Joyce Puckett

Ms. Eleanor "Joyce" Puckett, age 77, of Cedartown, GA passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017.

She was born in Atlanta, GA on December 23, 1939 a daughter of the late Walter Black and Sarah Haynes Black. Mrs. Puckett had lived most of her life in the Cedartown area. She was of the Baptist faith and had worked for Fox Manufacturing in Rome and also worked for the State of Georgia as a data entry clerk. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Black.

Survivors include her four children: Lori Bagwell, Jason Bagwell, Latrelle McCarty and Miranda Harrell; two step children: Robert Puckett and Tim Puckett; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, June 20, 2017 from 6 until 9 pm at the Smith & Miller Funeral Home.

In keeping with her wishes Mrs. Puckett will be cremated and no services will be held.
