Winfred Lee Brannon, Jr.

Mr. Winfred Lee Brannon, Jr., age 51, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024.

Lee was born in Austell, Georgia, July 18, 1973, son of Carol Crocker Brannon and the late Winfred Lee Brannon, Sr. 

For the entirety of his childhood Lee lived in Powder Springs, Georgia, and was a graduate of McEachern High School. He has been a resident of Cedartown, Georgia for almost thirty years. Lee was an easy going person. He had a fun loving spirit and was easy to talk to. He was always quick to lend a helping hand. Lee was an outdoorsman by nature. He enjoyed fishing, target practice, and time spent with his German Shepherd, "Shadow." Lee was of the Baptist Faith. He loved his daughter and family dearly. His presence in their lives will be greatly missed. 

Lee was preceded in death by his father, Winfred Lee Brannon, Sr. 

Lee is survived by his daughter, who he dearly loved, Brittany Brannon; beloved mother, Carol Brannon; brother, Wendell Scott Brannon and his wife, Mamie; nephew, Jon Brannon; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Smith & Miller Funeral Home, with Mr. Jeff Johnson, and Pastor Justin Carter officiating. 

His family will receive friends, also on Saturday at Smith & Miller Funeral Home, from 1:00 PM until the service hour.
