Mrs. Lillian Williams, age 73, of Rockmart, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Rome, Georgia on August 22, 1944, a daughter of the late Percy and Myrtice Stillwell. Mrs. Williams was raised in Cedartown before moving to Rockmart. She was a member of Friendly Baptist Church in Cedartown. Mrs. Williams was a nurses aid at Polk General Hospital for many years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Charles Malcolm Stillwell, mother and father in law, William and Dessie Williams.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Williams, to whom she had been married to for 56 years; daughter and son-in-law, Faith and Mark Harris; two grand-pups,TinkerBell and Candy; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Bobby Akins; sister-in-law, Sybell Payne; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Smith and Miller Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 27 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Smith and Miller Funeral Home with Reverend Jeff Hulsey, Reverend Derek Mann, and Reverend Jeremy Mallett officiating. Interment will follow at Northview Cemetery.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Robby Akins, Brandon Wingo, Steve Wingo, Mike Williams, Bob Zoerner, and Cason Mann.
