Lillie Rutherford

Mrs. Lillie Rutherford, age 81, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023.

Mrs. Rutherford was born January 26, 1942, in Dallas, Georgia, daughter of the late P.D. Strickland and Edith Moore Strickland.

Mrs. Rutherford enjoyed watching game shows and the excitement of completing crossword puzzles. Above all, she received her greatest joy while with her family.

Mrs. Rutherford was preceded in death by her parents, P.D. and Edith Strickland; husband, Jerry Rutherford; and brother, Herbert Strickland.

She is survived by her loving children, Ritchie Moody and his wife, Carolyn and Tammy Carden, granddaughter, Tana Moody; great grandson Payton Parrish; sisters: Sherry Lamb and Brenda Gibson. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

There are no formal services planned at this time.
