Mildred Anna Lee Cooper

Mrs. Mildred Anna Lee Cooper, age 93, of Cedartown, GA passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017.

She was born in Cedartown, GA on March 13, 1924 a daughter of the late Charles Allen Boling and Roxie Elizabeth Rogers Boling. Mrs. Cooper was a homemaker and a member of the Second Baptist Church of Cedartown. She loved to work in her yard, enjoyed sewing, cooking, helping others and being around her family.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, John Clay, great grandson Aubrey Clay and a son in law Doug Forrister; her brothers: Paul, Joe and James Boling and a sister Myrtle Boling Vincent.

Survivors include daughters: Carla Forrister, Rene Runyon (Roy) and Anita Clay; eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; sisters, Pat Isch and Evelyn Young; special friend, Lula Douglas; sister in law, Mary Ruth Boling and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the Smith & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Timmy Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 pm until the service hour at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will include: Joey Morton, Chris Tucker, Dennis Swindall, Brian Floyd, Ken Forrister and Jon Edwards. Honorary pallbearers will include: grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
