Myra Jean "Cissy" Spears

Mrs. Myra Jean “Cissy” Spears, age 65, of Cedartown passed away Friday, May 26, 2023.

Cissy was born May 25, 1958, in Trion, Georgia, daughter of Norman and Audrey Blake Tudor.

Cissy retired from Cedar Valley Nursing and Rehab where she had worked in the dietary department for 16 years. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Spears; sister, Lynn Edmondson; brother, Lewis Tudor; and nephew, Michael Edmondson.

Cissy is survived by her children, Jamie Tudor (Drexter), Logan Spears (Jean); granddaughter, Jaycee Lynn; and nephew, Shannon Edmondson. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held, Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home with Reverend Corey Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.

Cissy’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 1:00 until 2:00, at Smith & Miller Funeral Home.
