Mr. Neal "Stephen" Sorrells, age 70, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
Mr. Sorrells was born January 4, 1954, in Rome, Georgia, son of Frances "Earlene" Sorrells and the late Bobby Clyde Sorrells.
Mr. Sorrells retired with a long career as a meat cutter for Big Star and Kroger. He then followed his entrepreneurship dreams and became the owner of Sorrells Deer Processing in Cedartown. Mr. Sorrells was a gentle person by nature with a big heart. His sense of humor was unmatched and he had a captivating way of telling stories. Mr. Sorrells was a family man and had a special love for his grandchildren.
Mr. Sorrells was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Clyde Sorrells.
Mr. Sorrells is survived by his beloved wife of forty-four years, Mrs. Barbara Carroll Sorrells; loving mother, Frances "Earlene" Sorrells; Seth Sorrells and his wife, Brittany, and Jonathan Clifton and his wife, Jeanette; grandchildren: Sawyer Sorrells, Elsie Jane Sorrells, Parker Locklear, and Tyler Clifton; and siblings: Darrell Sorrells and his wife, Kris, Claire Twardy and her husband, Joe, and Forrest Sorrells and his wife, Doris. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Formal service times will be announced at a later date.
