Nellie Ruth Cooper

Mrs. Nellie Ruth Cooper, age 79, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020.

Nellie was born February 10, 1941 in Haralson County, Georgia to the late James Miller and the late Mattie Jane Smith. She was the baby girl of fourteen children. Nellie was a homemaker and a member of the Cedartown Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her thirteen brothers and sisters; husband, Lewis Boartfield, Sr.; son, Lewis Boartfield, Jr.; and husband, Albert Cooper.

Survivors include her daughters: Chelsea Diamond, Asja Cooper, and Nicole Stafford; grandchildren: Connor and Charles Diamond and James and Abigail Stafford.

A memorial service will be Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 10:00 at Cedartown Church of Christ. Minister Ed Lee and Minister David Stafford will be officiating. The family requests Spring casual dress attire. Social distancing guidelines will apply.
