Patsy Ferita Causey

Ms. Patsy Ferita Truett Causey, age 79, passed away, Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

Ms. Causey was born March 11, 1944, in Cedartown, Georgia, daughter of the late Robert Hamilton Truett and Marion Elizabeth Collins Truett.

Ms. Causey enjoyed time spent gardening and loved flowers. She enjoyed watching movies and listening to music and was especially fond of Elvis. Above all, she loved the time spent with her family and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, William Thomas Truett, William Floyd Truett, Shirley Ann Truett Vines, Shelby Jean Truett Nettles, and Betty Sharon Truett Clark.

Ms. Causey is survived by her children: James Michael Dill, Billy Dewayne Causey, Freida Causey Loveless and her husband, Michael, and Greg Lee Causey; and grandchildren whom she dearly loved: Keisha Forsyth and her husband, J.R., Sheridan Dill and his wife, Amy, Kayla Causey, Johnathan Causey, Miranda Rogers and her husband, Brian, and Chad Loveless and his wife, Misty. Also surviving are twelve great grandchildren; siblings, Carolyn Louise Truett Wood, Robert Wayne Truett, Nancy Diann Truett Brown; and brothers-in-law, James Brown and Pierce Nettles.

Graveside services to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 11:00 AM, in Greenwood Cemetery, with Dewayne Causey officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Sheridan Dill, Johnathan Causey, Ricky Vines, Perry Nettles, Todd Wood, Kevin Phillips, Chris Truett, and Allen Spence.
