Richard "Dickie" Smith

Mr. Richard “Dickie” Smith, age 60, of Cedartown, Ga passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

Mr. Smith was born in Rome, Ga, on April 23, 1962, son of the late Richard “Dick” Smith, Sr., and Evelyn Brumbelow Smith. He loved listening to the Rolling Stones and watching GA Tech football. You could always find him outside working in his garden, and in his free time, he enjoyed a good game of golf.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by a daughter, Audrey Boone; and brothers, Marion Smith, and Charles Smith. He is survived by his beloved wife Paulette Smith; daughters, Jessica Hughes and her husband Greg, Sara Saade and her husband Herbie, Brandi Ashley and her husband Garvin, and April Hunter and her husband Scott; sons, Joshua York, Adam Smith, Clint Ramey, and Kevin York; sister, Nelle Brown and her husband Herb; thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A number of nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Memorial services for Mr. Smith will be Sunday afternoon, September 18, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Lindsey Chapel Methodist Church with Reverend Sharon White officiating.
