Robert Edward Redding

Mr. Robert “Eddie” Redding, age 71, of Cedartown, GA passed away Monday, August 22, 2022.

Mr. Redding was born July 20, 1951, in Cedartown, GA, son of the late Barney Lee Redding, Sr. and Mildred Norton Redding.

Eddie spent the greater part of his life in Cedartown and was a graduate of Cedartown High School. An avid outdoorsman, Eddie enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and kayaking. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Redding is survived by his children, Bri Wilson and her husband, Berry of Marietta, Justin Redding and his wife Kim, of Cedartown, and Masie Redding of Cedartown; six grandchildren, Cain Wilson, Savannah Wilson, Brooklyn Wilson, Jacob Redding, Allison Redding, and Emilee Redding; brother, Barney Redding, Jr. and his wife Maryann of Port Saint Lucie, FL; and sister, Linda Redding of Greenville, SC. Several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 26, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Smith & Miller Funeral Home.

A private family service will follow.
