Ronnie Dee Robinson was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He left this world after a year-long battle with cancer on November 23, 2021, at age 71.
He was born to Rev. John (J.C.) and Catherine Robinson on August 15, 1950, in Cedartown, Georgia. After Highschool, Ronnie enlisted in the Marines and served one term during which time he was stationed and fought valiantly in Vietnam. He then reenlisted in the Airforce where he served two terms until he was honorably discharged. After moving to Taylor, Texas, he worked for Durcon for 19 years before he retired.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother and father, as well as his brother, W.J. Cole, step-son, Daniel Martin, and granddaughter Karlie Robinson. He is survived by his wife, Donna Robinson, son, Jason Robinson (Christie), stepdaughter, Andrea Morales (Mark), his brothers, Danny (Debbie), Richard (Ruth), and Dale Robinson and his grandchildren, Joseph, Annie, Noel, Rio, Natalie, and Noah Morales; Jaxson and Jaycee Robinson; Hunter, Logan, and Skylar Rogers.
Services for Ronnie will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM Central Time in the chapel of Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas.
The Smith & Miller Funeral will be live streaming the funeral in the chapel beginning at 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time for the local family and friends.
