Rosie Baldwin

Mrs. Rosie Bell Baldwin, age 94, of Cedartown passed away Friday December 31, 2021.

She was born May 12, 1927 in Bartow County. Rosie was of Baptist faith. She worked many years as a certified nursing assistant in senior living facilities and as a foster grandmother at Northwest Regional Hospital for several years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Julie Leona Godfrey and Bill Godfrey; husband, David Julian Baldwin; sons, Daniel Boon Baldwin and Buck Godfrey; brother, Junior Godfrey; sister, Flossie Craig; great grandsons, Chris Minter and Gerald Minter; great-great grandsons, Brody Easterwood and Dante Julian King.

Rosie is survived by her children, Kathleen Minter, Barbara Roach, David (Rooster) Baldwin, Tommy Baldwin, and Billy Bob Godfrey; grandchildren, Rosie Franks, Ada Minter, Toni Franks, Leona Minter, April Chapman, and Anthony Minter. She has several great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; nieces; nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Smith & Miller Funeral Home.
