Terry Harrell

Mr. Terry Harrell, age 72 of Cedartown, Georgia passed away Monday, January 3, 2022.

Terry was born September 19, 1949 in Cedartown to the late Herman Harrell and the late Eva Ray Harrell Chestnut. He was a very loving and caring man who meant what he said and considered his word his bond. Terry enjoyed reading and watching western movies. He served the community for many years as a police officer for both Rockmart and Cedartown.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Edward Harrell, Sr., sisters: Louise (Lucy) Thurmond and her husband Tom, Ruby Nell Hicks and her husband Jimmy, Janice (Jane) Westbrook, Joan Willis and her husband (Bill), and Joyce Hulsey.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Diane Hopkins Harrell; daughter Karen Lindsey and her husband Karl; sons: Dennis Harrell and his wife Kim, Jason Harrell and his wife Kristie; 12 grandchildren: Kaleb Lindsey, Kory Lindsey and his wife Trish, Conner Harrell, Logan Bonds, Megan NeSmith and her husband Justin, Blake Shellhorse and his wife Katie, Jase Harrell, Kaellie Harrell, Mason Minter, Austin Davis and his wife Ashley, Andrew Davis and his wife Lacy; honorary granddaughter: Angel Harrell; 14 great-grandchildren: Ellie Grace, Livi Jo, Bailey, Brighton, Bennett, Brodie, Berkley, Matthew, Henlee, Ella, Emma, Chloe, Ava, McKenna. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 7, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Smith & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Harrell and Rev. Kermit Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

The following will serve as pallbearers: Kaleb Lindsey, Kory Lindsey, Conner Harrell, Jase Harrell, Logan Bonds, Bill Hicks. Honorary pallbearers will be Kaellie Harrell and Scott Davidson.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, January 7, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. until the service hour
