Thomas "Teddy" Carnes Iii

Mr. Thomas Theodore Carnes III also known as "Teddy", age 62, of Borden Springs, Alabama passed away suddenly Friday, April 28, 2017.

He was born in Cedartown, GA, son of the late Thomas Carnes II and Shelley Carnes. Mr. Carnes had lived most of his life in the Cedartown and Borden Springs area. He had retired from the Hon Company. After his retirement he loved watching football, the outdoors, fishing in his favorite spots and listening to the local trading post edition. He also proudly served our country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his daughters: Star Hart and Skye Carnes; grandchildren: Chance Brown, Choyce Wooten and Emma Woods all of Cedartown.

Mr. Carnes will be cremated and his graveside inurnment service will be conducted in Northview Cemetery on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Jerome Smith officiating. The American Legion Brewster-Cleveland Post 86 honor guard will be conducting full military rites for Mr. Thomas "Teddy" Carnes III.
