Thomas "Tommy" Lee Dingler, Jr

Mr. Thomas Lee “Tommy” Dingler, Jr., age 67, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Sunday morning, June 12, 2022, at his residence.

A native of Cedartown and Polk County, Tommy was born October 3, 1954, son of the late Thomas Lee “Tommy” Dingler, Sr., and Mary Ann Hatch Dingler. He was a house builder and a history buff who was always listening to Southern Rock music. Tommy loved being outdoors and collecting arrowheads. He never met a stranger, was always willing to talk to you and was an avid University of Alabama fan.

In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jewell Sweat.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Karen Walker Dingler; daughter Jessica Watkins (Heath Watkins); son, Lee Dingler (Carissa Kelley); grandchildren, Jordan (Kaylee) Watkins, John Watkins, Emmalee Watkins and Lucas Kelley; great-grandson, Waylon Watkins; nephew, Joshua (Brittney) Walker; great-nephew, Mark Walker, and great-niece, MaKenzie Walker.

A service to celebrate Tommy's life will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 at 12:00 PM in the sanctuary of Collard Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Benefield officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 17, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Collard Valley Baptist Church, 65 Collard Valley Loop, Cedartown, Georgia 30125.
