Timothy "Chris" Phillips

Mr. Timothy Christian “Chris” Phillips, age 55 of Cedartown, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022.

Chris was born on December 23, 1966, in Rockmart, Georgia to his parents Olen Phillips and Linda Jo Sparks Phillips Hiett. Mr. Phillips was an avid musician, having played professionally throughout the country. He received many awards for producing, songwriting, and playing guitar. He enjoyed traveling the country with many different musicians.

He is preceded in death by his father, Olen Phillips.

Chris is survived by his children, Bronson Phillips and his wife Megan, William Phillips and his wife, Jianna and Victoria Williams and her husband Cameron; sister, Madison Hiett; grandchildren, Suzanne Williams, Hudson Phillips, Landon Phillips, Crystal Phillips, and Billy Phillips; mother, Linda Hiett and her husband Joe; sister, Loraine Mullin and her husband Matt. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Services for Chris will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 12:00 o’clock noon in the sanctuary of New Freedom Baptist Church, 676 Compton Rd., Rockmart, Ga. 30125 with Pastor Michael Jack Goss officiating.
